OPEN HOUSE VIENNA opens architecture that is normally not open to the public – free of charge & for everyone. For two days you have the opportunity to visit a wide variety of buildings on short tours.
This year, Viertel Zwei is prominently represented with grandstand 2. The time has come on September 11th.
The listed and since the 1960s no longer used grandstands 2 and 3 of the Wiener Trabrennverein in Viertel Zwei were redesigned by the architect Martin Kohlbauer / Tillner & Willinger and then revitalized, refurbished, expanded with a new building and redesigned into unique office space. What you immediately feel when entering is the original character of the grandstands. Many listed elements have been preserved and are reminiscent of glamorous times that are now being brought back to life. An absolute highlight is the modern interior design by the Dutch interior designer Marcel Wanders.

Living and working in the Viertel Zwei
The Viertel Zwei has an unusual location. Directly at Vienna’s largest park, the Prater, while at the same time offering perfect traffic connections with its own subway station, Krieau. This is how you manage to live and work in the Viertel Zwei in a green environment in 1020 Vienna – and still reach Stephansplatz at the heart of Vienna in just a view minutes.
